Made for us by the wonderful Erinn Klein of Ngeringa, this years iteration sees a mix of Pinot rosé (50%), Shiraz rosé (39%), Pink Semillon (7%), and and Viognier (4%) from a selection of excellent vineyards around the Adelaide Hills.

GATE Shiraz 2017 BAROSSA ( Dark Yellow Label ) Blackhearts Series

An intriguing blend of 88% Vermentino, 6% Cortese, 4% Chardonnay and 2% Pinot Gris from vineyards from across the Riverland and the Adelaide Hills. Chiselled yellow citrus and lemon peel with a soft pink grapefruit edge. Fun and approachable, this wine is perfect to have alongside seafood dishes!

Somos Blanquito Vermentino Blend 2020

Excellent Pinot Blanc from the Adelaide Hills, with an almost Riesling-like character to it. Crisp and fresh (like the crunchiest green apple you've ever eaten), and delightfully dry. So, so good.

Paracombe Pinot Blanc 2021

The vintage that was 2020 threw many curveballs for the team at BK, with their Ovum Pinot Gris resulting in a wine with surprising weight and structure. Spending two weeks on skins and fermented in egg-shaped concrete vessels, the palate has a mealy texture with notes of orange blossom, custard apple, and a little preserved citrus tang.

A hint of gunsmoke on the nose blows off to reveal a rich but precise palate of ripe yellow stonefruits, lemon balm, and citrus peel with a fair wack of oak imparting a creamy, nutty quality. Lovers of big Chardonnay, this one is for you!
