Suntory Toki Whisky 700ml

Having just arrived in Australia, this release from Nikka is the result of a decision in 2015 to move to the production of No Age Statement (NAS) releases. The Yoichi Single Malt is a perfect example of Nikka's enduring success as a distiller, with lingering aromas of nougat, candied almond, and maple syrup leading to a smooth palate of browned butter, hazelnut, and subtle woodsmoke.

Since its first limited release in 2015, Kirin have produced a new bottling of this blended whisky every year. The 2020 version keeps to the hallmarks of Kirin's house style, with tropical fruit aromas which flow through to the palate alongside some savoury walnut and clove spice. The finish is smooth and almost sweet, making for a delicious and incredibly easy-drinking whisky. (500ml) 40% ABV
