An 100% Australian-grown beer, using native yeast cultures foraged off hop flowers? Thank you, Wildflower! This uses malted wheat, Schooner pale & Schooner Vienna malts from Voyager Craft Malt (NSW), alongside whole flower Saaz and Cascade dried hops from Ryefield Hops (NSW), and spent time maturing in oak barrels for 14 months. The resulting brew is a lovely collaboration between Wildflower and Batch Brewing, has marzipan and savoury oak aromatics, leading into candied orange citrus, toasted sourdough, lime marmalade, ripe stone fruit, and more citrus. This is a beautiful brewed expression of time, place, and relationships, and it's one that you should not miss from Wildflower.
