The Farr family has solidified their reputation as being some of the most highly regarded winemakers in Australia, with their interpretations of French varieties being some of the best in the country. Originally started by Gary and Robyn Farr in 1994, the baton has now been passed on to their son, Nick, to carry on the Farr legacy.

The Farrside Vineyard, situated a mere 300 metres away from the Sangreal vineyard on a northeastern slope with black volcanic soils. It's the more powerful Pinot Noir in the By Farr lineup, with notes of charred meats, black cherry, and earthy spice riding alongside firm, gravelly tannins that provide beautiful length and texture. This wine will continue to develop further complexity from careful cellaring.
