Deciding to split from his family's Domaine, Marc Colin, in 2005, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey has since garnered an esteemed reputation for crafting benchmark Burgundy wines of outstanding precision and quality. It's no overstatement to say that these wines are up there with the best examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Côte de Beaune, if not in the whole world.

Pierre-Yves works wonders with Chardonnay's lesser-known sibling, Aligoté, and the 2019 vintage show has an almost Chablis-esque look and feel. It's energetic and floral, with white peach, lemon peel, jasmine and a steely, mineral-laden acidity that adds a lovely line of freshness.
